?✨THANK YOU✨? it’s hard to put into words how grateful we are to everybody involved in making our Pride charity day the success it ended up being, but let’s try!
❤️Thank you to Alisa at Hotel Chocolat for generously donating the massive chocolate hamper for our “like and share“ third prize.
❤️ Thank you to Wild Cabaret for their very kind donation of an amazing experience for two as our second “like and share” prize.
❤️Thank you to our hardworking and very talented pals Michael Devlin and Natalie Welsh for their amazing baking skills, for donating their cakes into our bake sale, and also for their support throughout the day.
❤️Thank you to Greig Cunningham for his amazing dancing and singing, running the desk and keeping spirits high (and coffee ☕️).
❤️Thank you to Arian Forrester from Polly’s Pampered Pooches Grooming and Daycare Johnstone for being Winston’s PA’s, making sure he was well looked after, hydrated and topped up on treats, for helping running the desk and bringing us all your doggy wears (we know winston was defiantly spoiled rotten).
❤️Thank you to Wee Aldo for being the stunning face of the day and for his takeover of our shop Instagram ( it was fantastic and hilarious?) and being a ray of sunshine for the whole team.
❤️Thank you to Ross for running the bake sale, for helping with the set up and for keeping everything calm.
❤️Thank you to Poh-Ling Tan from Pie In The Sky for, once again, sharing her wonderful handmade crafts and with us. Pie in the sky have a permanent pop up in the land ahoy shop but for #landahoypride the shop gets a little extra geeky. Poh will be keeping the expanded pop up stock with us until the end of the month so get in and treat yourself 🙂
❤️❤️An extra thank goes to Cameron Houston, for looking completely gorgeous and being our head wrangler, for taking on about ten times the work load we previously intended for him and doing it all without breaking a sweat IN HEELS. You really were the star of the whole day ⭐️ Next year we will be handing the whole thing over to you ?
A LOT of organising and hard work goes into our Pride days, but it is without a doubt worth every moment for the result; not only do we raise money for a very good cause (Stonewall) , but we want to create a completely inclusive, welcoming and safe place for EVERYBODY to enjoy, always. The buzz and energy you all create on the day is worth all the late nights of grafting! We are so grateful to all of you who got tattooed, pierced and freckled, and also to everybody to bought our cakes, kissed our doggos, entered the raffles and contests, shared the posts and spread the word. None of this would be possible without you all, and you should all take pride in the fact you have made a difference and made a positive impact.
We at Land Ahoy wish all of you a very happy and safe Pride, and thank you from the bottom of our hearts ???
